Both of us took a morning flight down to HongKong

and arrived there in the afternoon

Retrieved our luggage and boarded the Airport Express Train

The train ride was rather quiet with only a few passengers

joining us in the journey

Since there is nothing much to do in the train

we started taking pictures!

Once we arrived at the city

It took us an hour or more to search for our HOTEL

*imagine the heat*

Hotel

We ventured out into the streets once we checked in
The morning calm was all gone, once we stepped out of the hotel
The streets & sidewalks were filled with people

We were so ready to SHOP, but throughout the entire trip
we didnt buy much! Came back with food more than clothes
Imagine 20kg of cherries!
25 packets of instant noodles!

Since not much shopping is done, we decided to pamper ourselves
Cheapest manicure ever

Gel Extension + Nail Art = RM30

Besides pampering ourselves, we went for karaoke in the night
after some late night shopping

Singing "emo songs"

There is one shop that both of us must visit 'EVERYDAY'
Its this
Hui Lau Shan Dessert Shop
They serve the best mango dessert ever!
Beside Taiwan's Famous Ice Monster Dessert Shop

This pretty much summarize my whole trip in HongKong
It is one of the most memorable trip with you
besides our crazy shopping trip in BKK
I really enjoyed my entire trip with you
And i would like to THANK YOU for being there for me
Let the month of *June* be my past!

I'm back once again! Blogging about my long overdue post about

my TAIWAN trip! *haha* I cant really remember much, but i'll try!

First Stop : Zhong Zhen Memorial Hall

We thought that it was the entrance to the Memorial Hall
took out our cameras, wondering why there isn't any tourist
didnt bother, continue taking pictures

Until we saw this

This is actually the main entrance of the Memorial Hall
How dumb can we be.... "Charlotte Ang" =)

Charlotte & I decided to just drop by this Memorial Hall to take some pictures.

Why?? Because every holiday trip is not complete

without pictures of "boring"

building/museum.

Second Stop : Taipei 101

Third Stop : Shih Lin Night Market

After visiting Taipei 101, we decided to go down to

"Shih Lin Night Market"

Beyond a doubt, this night market is one of the most famous night markets in Taipei.

They have their famous "uncle bob fried chicken" there

in contrast to many times i've eaten "uncle bob's fried chicken"

i feel this is still the best.

More and more food!

We went down to Xi Men Ding to try their very famous

"Ah Chung Mian Xian"

The Era World Tour 2010

Jay's concert was amazing, the visuals and effects was fabulous
Not forgetting his singing! Awww...
However, it was really difficult for us
to actually take pictures & videos during the show
because the security is really tight
but i manage to take a few

Jay made his opening really special with visual projection of "HIMSELF"
that really caught our attention

Without my dear Charlotte, i wouldnt know this is the Entrance
i hate being a banana =(

Other than his fans support, various artist came to support his as well
We saw Elva Xiao, Nono, Lara, Ariel Lin & Joe Cheng,

What surprise us was Jolin Tsai made a special appearance during his concert
Got the media & fans *excited*
Imagine the screaming and shouting, when she appeared on stage together with Jay!!
Both of them sang

"Gei Wo Yi Shou Ge De Shi Jian"

This has got to be the best concert i've been so far!

Worth paying and flying to Taiwan

All About Jay

I will not be elaborating on the purpose of
my trip to Taiwan because it is really obvious that both of us
went there for 周杰伦

Particularly there is a place which thrilled us
Can you actually imagine the level
of excitement hearing that
周杰伦 owns two restaurants in Taiwan

Charlotte & I, visited the one at GuangFu South Road
The restaurant is called
"Mr J"
A French - Italian Restaurant

We didn't know we have to make reservation before going down.
Therfore, both of us went there without any reservation
hoping that we're lucky enough to get a table

*guess NOT*

The restaurant was packed and we werent allowed to wait
because the restaurant was packed til midnight
We had no other choice
Made reservation for lunch the following day

The restaurant is decorated with many oil painting of
JAY CHOU

There are also many souvenirs which
we can buy from the reception
from Jay posters,CDs,stickers,cards,postcards

*Both of us didnt get anything there*
i swear! hehe

Here comes the food

Dessert

Overall i found that the food was average
nothing surprising to me
i thought with that crowd, the food is more than average
i guess i was wrong
well worth going there for Jay! *hehe*
i would guess most of the visitor who dine there
for novelty sake and crazy Jay Chou fan
just like both of us

12th-16th June 2010

Charlotte and I wanted to go for Jay Chou's concert so badly

But we couldn't get tickets for his concert

Everything was practically sold out *crazy fans*

Therefore, both of us gave up going to Taiwan

Surprisingly, they decided to hold an extra day for his concert

And we manage to get the tickets online

Taiwan here we come

Our hotel is peacefully located directly opposite the Daan Park
Which is also minutes a way from the MRT
Walking into the hotel gives me a very warm feeling
they also the personalized touches
in making me feel like home

Right after we checked into our room

We were craving for some Taiwanese food

and we went to the nearest night market/street

"YongKang Street"

In YongKang, there is this well-known ice shop

ICE MONSTER

this desert bar/shop fully deserves the reputation

for its excellent shaved ice dishes

Their serving is HUGE

A mound full of mango fruit with mango sorbet and condensed milk

I'm pretty sure that KTZ
can never make mango shaved ice taste like this "heavenly"
However,the queue was terrible but it was all worth it
Their seating is sheltered but open, we could watch the hustle and bustle of YongKang Street
This is a "must try on the list of Taipei"

There is a night market near YongKang Street

But i actually feel that you got to change them yourself

We all have big changes in our lives that are more or less a second chance..

That is why i keep asking myself over and over again

" Did i made the right choice?"

"Do i have the willpower to accept the change?"

A little Bonding with my babygirl @ Frangipani

It is my 2nd time dining @Frangipani, the food still taste as good as before.

This time i went there with my babygirl!

After talking and planning for so long "months",we finally got to meet up

I dont think both of us can ever plan things in advance!

We will never make it.

We may look small in size but we both can eat alot! ALOT!

Here comes the food,

Pan Roasted Porcini powder dusted Hokkaido Scallop with half cooked potato

sliced seared porcini mushroom and white gazpacho vinaigrette

Pan Roasted Duck Confit with mustard cream and mash potato on a crisp
potato couronne

Pan seared Jap Mulloway with saffron risotto and romesco thickened bouillabaisse sauce

Pan roasted duck prosciutto wrapped grain-fed tenderloin topped with foie gras served with spinach and truffle glaze

It is always nice to have a little bonding time with you, babygirl.

This has got to be the best potato chips i've ever eaten so far.

They have flavours like Sea Salt,Tzatziki, Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream, Honey Soy Chicken
Lime & Black Pepper, Dijon Mustard & Honey,Moroccan Chicken

My top pick got to be

Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream,Honey Soy Chicken & Dijon Mustard and Honey!

The saddest part is they dont sell it in Malaysia!!

Nearest place which i can get is in Singapore or Australia =(

But thanks to Janet, she bought a few packet for me from Perth!

A little surprise from Daddy

Mummy and I love to watch tvb series.

We practically watched every single tvb series/drama

shown on "Astro on Demand".

Not only that, Mummy even has her own collection of TVB series on DVD.

Daddy always knew that both of us love watching tvb series, therefore he gave

us a little surprise!! *hehehe*

Daddy: "We are going out to have lunch! Wear something nice!"

Me: "hhmmm.... wear something nice?"

So, Mummy & I quickly got dressed up, and we left for our so called "lunch".

Daddy took us to this Grand opening event, a beauty parlour.

Me: "Daddy, why are we here?"

Daddy: "Just wait"

Mummy: "Wait what?"

Daddy took us into a room, and Mummy & I was so shock to see

Kenny Wong Tak Ban & Maggie Siu Mei Kei sitting there!

i cannot believe, we actually got a chance to meet them in person.

Thanks Daddy!!

At that time, Astro on Demand just finish showing "Fly with Me".

And i was lucky to meet one of the main cast in that series!
